Ajith Kumar and Tamanna Bhatia were earlier seen together in Veeram directed by Siruthai Siva. Some of the industry insiders are assuming that the makers of the movie were not happy to repeat the same jodi as the combo may fail to evoke Interest among audience. This factor has turned out to be a blessing for Samantha as the director has now knocked her doors.

Ajith The second schedule of Ajith’s 55th film directed by Gautham Menon is going on at full swing for the past couple of weeks and as it has been reported many times the team is shooting the scenes during night times in the locations surrounding the ECR road. Though there is no official information about the story of the film or Ajith’s role in it, sources close to the movie reveal that Ajith plays an officer who investigates a murder. As per the story a murder happens in the ECR road and the scenes of Ajith investigating the murder mystery are being shot in this schedule. Soruces also add that this murder and its investigation are crucial to the script. This yet to be titled Ajith-Gautham film is being produced by A.M.Ratnam under Sri Sathya Sai Movies banner. The film stars Anushka as the female lead who also be dubbing for her character for the first time in Tamil films. Trisha, Arun Vijay and Vivekh are said to play pivotal roles in the flick that will have music score by Harris Jayaraj and camera work by Don MacArthur

Director A.R.Murugadoss will be directing a film which will have Thala Ajith in the lead role. He had earlier directed Thala Ajith in a film titled  as Dheena. It is significant to note that A.R.Murugadoss first film Dheena which had Thala Ajith, Laila and Suresh Gopi in the cast.

Only in this film Thala Ajith had earned the famous nickname Thala. Even now Thala Ajith is fondly referred as Thala. After Dheena, A.R.Murugadoss continued to direct films such as Ramana, Ghajini, Ezham Arivu and Thuppakki. A.R.Murugadoss is currently directing a film titled Kaththi which has Vijay in the lead role. After completing this film, A.R.Murugadoss has decided to direct Thala Ajith. So far A.R.Murugadoss has directed Surya and Vijay twice. Now for the second time he will be joining hands with Thala Ajith. So far no official announcement regarding this film has been made.

Kadhal Kottai Story :

Kamali (Devayani) lives with her sister and brother-in-law in Ooty and is searching for a job. While in Madras, her purse is stolen and she fears she has lost her university certificates. Surya (Ajith Kumar) who works in Jaipur finds the purse and sends it back to her, and a love develops through letters and phone calls. They agree to love each other without meeting, and Surya eventually moves to Madras for work. However Kamali's brother-in-law is pressuring her to marry a suitable man and Surya's boss keeps trying to seduce him. Eventually, Kamali and Surya unite through a run of coincidences.
