Ajith underwent a small surgery on Tuesday morning. According to sources, it was a septoplasty and functional endoscopic sinus surgery.

"Thala Ajith is doing good and he will be back in full form in a few days. After that, he will start shooting for his 56th film," sources said.

Thala 56' movie directed by Siruthai Siva, the movie is expected to have Shruti Haasan as the heroine. Thambi Ramaiah to play comedy role. Most part of the shoot is expected to take place in Kolkata.
